Channel 7 KFC Bucket Moments Competition Terms and Conditions By entering “KFC Bucket Moments Competition” (“the Competition”), you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions: 1. STANDARD TERMS 1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 2. WHO CAN ENTER? 2.1 Subject to clause 2.2 and 2.3, entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 14 and above, where the Channel Seven (and affiliates) signal is received. 2.2 Entrants aged over 14 but under 18 years must have parental/guardian approval to enter and the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion. 2.3 Employees and their immediate friends and families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Pty Ltd, Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step- grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. 3. HOW TO ENTER 3.1 The Competition commences on Monday 6th December 2021 at 09:00 AEDT and concludes on Friday 28th January 2022 at 11:00 AEDT (“the Competition Period”). 3.2 The competition will be advertised on, but not limited to, the Seven Network (“the Network”) during the Big Bash League and Cricket Test Matches (“the Programs”), www.7plus.com.au, and supporting promotional media throughout the Competition Period to provide details on how to enter the competition. 3.3 COMPETITION ENTRY: In order to enter the Competition, viewers must complete the following steps during the Competition Period: • Head to 7plus.com.au/bucket • Complete all required fields in the competition entry form; and • Watch the two (2) featured “moments” and vote for their favourite. 3.4 For clarity, “moments” refer to a variety of archival moments in Cricket over the decades, which will be featured on the promotional website. 3.5 Entries that meet the requirements of clauses 3.3 and adhere to these Terms and Conditions will be deemed a valid entry (“valid entry”). 3.6 Entries are limited to one (1) valid entry per person per day throughout the Competition Period. Entrants can only win one (1) Minor Prize throughout the entire Competition Period (excluding residents of SA who are entitled to win more than one Minor Prize). All entrants, including Minor Prize Winners, are able to win the Major Prize. 4. PRIZES 4.1 There will be Sixty-Four (64) prize winners (One (1) Major Prize winner, and Sixty-Three (63) Minor Prize winners) from all entries received (online). Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken. 4.3 Once the prize is accepted, winners must deal directly with Ansible Pty Ltd as distributer of the prizing. 4.4 The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise advised. 4.5 In accepting their prize, the winners agree to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use. 4.6 Winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation. 4.7 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the Winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s and Sponsor’s requirements. 4.8 In the event that an element of the prize outlined in the above is not available for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with a similar product of equal or greater value, subject to state regulations. 4.9 Winners will be required to provide valid identification to the Promoter. 4.10 If there as a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of an entrant. 4.11 Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. 4.12 The Promoter may require prize winners to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in the form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. 4.13 The Promoter may vary these Terms and Conditions at its discretion, subject to state government legislation 4.14 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to KFC Cricket 2022 Competition 2 / 5 disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process including but not limited engaging in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Competition. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved 4.15 The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. 5. PRIZE CONDITIONS CASH KFC VOUCHER KFC BBL MERCH PACK 6. HOW TO WIN 6.1 This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining winners. 6.2 Each entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with these Terms and Conditions during the Competition Period (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the prize draw. Entries that do not comply with any of the terms and conditions, may be deemed invalid and a re-draw will be conducted in its place. 6.3 The prize draw will take place on Monday 31st January 2022 at 11:00 AEDT at Ansible Pty Ltd, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010. 6.5 Winners will be notified by e-mail and phone call from the Ansible Pty Ltd within five (5) working days of the prize draw. All winners will be published on the 7plus website from Friday 4th March 2022. 6.4 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result. 6.7 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being notified or a winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. In these circumstances, the Promoter will revert to a reserve entry drawn. 6.8 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. 6.9 Once the prize is accepted, winners must deal directly with Ansible Pty Ltd to organise prize fulfillment. Winners will be required to provide Ansible Pty Ltd with details required for prize fulfillment including, but not limited to, delivery address and bank account details for EFT transfer. 6.10 KFC Vouchers and BBL Merch Packs will be posted within ten (10) business days of winners confirming their delivery address to Ansible Pty Ltd. Items will be posted via express, registered post. 6.11 In the event of an unclaimed prize, an unclaimed prize draw will take place Ansible Pty Ltd, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010 on Monday 2nd May 2022 at 11:00 AEST, subject to any 5.1 Cash prizes will be transferred via EFT to the winner’s nominated bank accounts. 5.2 Cash prizes will be fulfilled within fifteen (15) working days of Ansible Pty Ltd receiving all required forms and details from each winner. 5.3 KFC Vouchers will be sent via mail and must be redeemed in full, in-store when placing an order. The vouchers will expire on Saturday 30th April 2022 and will not be valid from this date. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a KFC Voucher are not included. Any unused balance of a KFC Voucher will be foreited and no change will be given. Redemption of a KFC Voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the KFC Voucher. 5.5 Each Merch Pack will contain 1 x Shirt, 1 x Pants, 1 x Cap, 1 x Vest. The kit will be that of one (1) of the eight (8) teams competing in the BBL|11 and selection of team is at the Promoter’s absolute discretion. 5.6 The sizing of the merchanise within the KFC BBL Merch Pack will be determined by the Promoter at its absolute discretion. 5.7 KFC BBL Merch Packs are not exchangeable. KFC Cricket 2022 Competition 3 / 5 directions from a regulatory authority. Winner/s, if any, will be notified by e-mail and phone call. The unclaimed prize winner’s details will be published on the 7plus website from Friday 6th May 2022. 7. NO LIABILITY 7.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, COVID 19, pandemic, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same Terms and Conditions, subject to state government legislation or any direction from any regulatory authority. 7.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Kentucky Fried Chicken Pty Ltd, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail. 7.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Kentucky Fried Chicken Pty Ltd, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur: a) during the draw; b) in the acceptance, participation or use of any element(s) of a prize; c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail; d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; or e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this Competition. 7.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Kentucky Fried Chicken Pty Ltd, Ansible Pty Ltd and its associated agencies and companies assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation. 7.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation. 8. In addition to any required disclosures referred to in these Terms and Conditions, your personal information will be disclosed to the Promoter, the Sponsor and their related bodies corporate for these purposes. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to other companies for the purpose of facilitating the delivery of prizes to winners. Where you provide us with personal information about another individual, you must have their consent to provide their personal information. No other use of this information will be made without your consent. If you do not provide your personal information, the Promoter will not be able to enter you into the Competition. Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter may disclose KFC Cricket 2022 Competition 4 / 5 the entrant’s personal information to its related entities, business partners and external service providers for research and profiling purposes as well as other purposes reasonably related to the entrant’s relationship with the Promoter. In addition, by entering this Competition, you consent to the Promoter using your personal information for the purpose of the Promoter and its related entities sending you information regarding programs, products and services available through them and/ or through their business partners, and to the Promoter from time to time sharing your personal information with carefully selected business partners for the purpose of them sending you such information directly.
