HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible to enter, individuals must, during the promotional period, donate a minimum of $10.00 in a single transaction to the Australian Little Athletics. (ALA) Fundraising Team to receive a scratch card. Scratch cards are strictly limited. Entrants will receive a scratch card for every $10.00 donated and a bonus scratch card if a donation of $50.00 is made in a single transaction. For the avoidance of doubt, if the entrant donates $50.00 they will receive 5 scratch cards plus 1 bonus scratch card (6 scratch cards in total).
The entrant must scratch their card to reveal whether or not they have won an instant prize. To claim a prize, entrants must either call the claim line number 1800 079 966 during business hours 9.00am – 5.00pm each week day to receive their cash prize. Or complete the details on the back of the ticket and send the ticket into Australian Little Athletics. “Scratch & Win over $36,000 to be Won” Promotion, Suite 11, 210 Toorak Road, South Yarra VIC 3141. In order to verify their claim, instant win prize winners will be required to send their winning scratch card to an address (notified to them at the time of their call) so that it is received by 5pm AEDST on 21/02/2011. Allow 28 days for receipt of prize.
To enter the major prize draw, entrants must either:
- fully complete the online entry form at the www.littleathletics.com.au with the scratch card code, their name, address, phone, email address, date of birth. Retain original scratch card as proof of purchase OR
- fully complete the entry details on the back of the scratch card and send it to “Australian Little Athletics. “Scratch & Win over $36,000 to be Won” Promotion. PO Box 749 South Melbourne, VIC 3205, in a self addressed envelope so that it is received by 5pm AEDST on 21/02/2011.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to VIC & QLD residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) and paid contractors of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per scratch card awarded; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
6. Promotion commences on 08/03/2010 and closes 5pm AESDT on 14/02/2011. Entries close last mail on 21/02/2011 All claims for instant win prizes must be received by 5pm AEDST on 21/02/2011. The draw will take place at Suite 11, 210 Toorak Road, South Yarra VIC 3141 on 25/02/2011 at 10am AEDST.
7. Instant winners will be notified immediately in writing and their names (for prizes over $250) will be published in the Herald Sun on 01/03/2011. Major prize draw winner will be notified by mail and their name will be published in the Herald Sun 01/03/2011.
8. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The first valid entry drawn in the major prize draw will win the choice of either:
- a voucher to the value of AUD $20,000 which the winner can redeem for travel, accommodation and tickets to the 2012 London Olympics. Travel and accommodation must be redeemed by Events Worldwide. Trip for 2 to the 2012 London Olympic Games valued at $20,000. Prize must be booked by 30/06/2011. If the winner has not booked the prize by this date, he/she will not be able to redeem the voucher for travel or accommodation to coincide with the 2012 London Olympics due to limited availability, but will be able to redeem the voucher for an alternative holiday provided that they book by 30/07/2011. All airfares, transport, accommodation and event ticketing is subject to booking and availability. Any additional costs associated with redeeming the voucher, including but not limited to meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, and spending money, are the responsibility of the winner and any companions (as incurred). Redemption of the voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher. During the entire duration of travel, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. Entrants must ensure that they are available to travel to the 2012 London Olympics in the event that they are drawn as the major prize winner. The winner (and any companion) is responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas, vaccinations and documentation required for travel. The winner will not earn frequent flyer points by redemption of the voucher. Any unused balance of the voucher may be awarded as cash at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. However, subject to the terms and conditions of the participating travel provider(s), if for any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

10. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in.
11. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will not be redeemable for cash.
12. Instant win prizes: 490 x $5 cash prize, 400 x $10 cash prize, 150 x $20 cash prize, 20 x $50 cash prize, 10 x $100 cash prize, 7 x $500 cash prize, 2 x $1,000 cash prize. All instant win cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque.
13. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

15. Total prize pool value is $36,950.
16. Prizes, including any unused portion, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless stipulated otherwise.
17. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 23/05/2011 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners’ names (for prizes over $250) will be published in the Herald Sun on 25/05/2011. For any unclaimed $5 prizes or $10 instant win prizes, these prizes will be bundled into amounts of $100 and awarded to valid entrants drawn in the unclaimed prize draw. Any excess cash that does not fall within the $100 denomination will be awarded as a prize of the remaining amount (eg: if there is $545 worth of unclaimed $5 and $10 prizes, this will form 5 x $100 prizes, and 1 x $45 prize).
18. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
19. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Instant win game materials void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way. There will be a total of 54,000 instant win game cards printed for this promotion.
20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) a prize.
21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
